Excavation completed

Thanks to the guys at Progressive Excavating putting in a Saturday we now have our basement dug. They dig the hole 3' bigger on each side to make accommodation for the concrete forms that will be used to form the basement walls. Our basement walls will be 10' high and 10" thick. The low side of the hole represents the walk out side of our basement where we will have a door. We are hoping to get the footers dug this Tuesday, then they will have to get inspected before they can be poured.
